So, here you go -
Backlog Bisque
Start off by boiling 10 to 15 Sega Genesis, SNES and NES cartridges in 8 cups of water for 2 to 3 hours. This is to create a rich and delectable broth.
Once your broth is finished removed the now tender and delicious cartridges and rough chop them into bite sized pieces. Also, set aside a 2 cups of your broth
In a soup pot, saute a mirepoix of GBA, 3DS and Switch carts in 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Once cooked through and translucent, deglaze the pan with 2 cups of heavy cream and bring to a simmer on medium-low heat for 15 minutes.
Finally, add your chopped cartridges and the 2 cups of broth and cook for another 30 minutes.
Serve in a soup bowl of decomishend PS1 shells and enjoy! For an added twist, shatter 2 or 3 Wii U, Xbox One or PS4 discs and sprinkle on top. The crunchy texture mixed with this full bodied soup will delight the pickiest of gamer!
A perfect addition to a thanksgiving feast!
